It must be our spicy palate that makes me add the chilies, garlic and sometimes ginger to many of the western meals. One wonders whether you taste the spices more or the actual ingredients! Whatever it is, it sure makes the dish more yummy. Depending on your cooking or eating habits, you can add or omit the onion, garlic and even sausage! You can even use other tinned beans, always remembering to add the tomato sauce.
